On the afternoon of June 24, a series of Vietnamese Facebook groups suddenly received the notification "We have suspended your group". The reason given by the largest social network in the world was: "the group has had some activities that do not comply with the principles". Most of the groups were suspended this time "due to violating the Community Standards on dangerous individuals and organizations."

Along with the above situation, many groups with millions of active members were also put on "inactive" status by the Administrator.
Mr. BT, a social network service provider, said that the number of groups that were suddenly suspended increased sharply this afternoon, but it is still unclear whether this is a sweep by the platform or a Facebook algorithm error. Mr. BT also said that some lucky groups that have not been swept have proactively suspended themselves. The suspension is set by the group administrator, but it is not certain that they can escape this sweep.

Meanwhile, some service groups on Facebook or Zalo are offering a service to "report" groups for violations for 50-99 thousand VND, making users and administrators worried. However, experts warn that this time the error may come from the platform, not from being "reported."

Last month, Facebook also suddenly blocked a series of personal accounts in Vietnam for many reasons such as promoting sex trafficking, illegal adoption, forced labor, or having violent, provocative language...
Instagram accounts that are linked to Facebook that are disabled will also be suspended. This means that both Facebook and Instagram accounts of users who show signs of violating community standards will not be able to log in and use normally. Other people will also not be able to find suspended accounts on the platform until they are verified.
At that time, the accounts protested according to the instructions and quickly got their accounts back. This time, the groups were immediately removed after the protest, so those with many years of experience in the industry recommended that group administrators should temporarily suspend the group and wait for further announcements from Facebook.
Up to now, Meta - Facebook's parent company has not yet responded to the above situation./.
