Thousands of Quang Ngai fishing boats come ashore for shelter

QNgTV- In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 12, thousands of fishing boats in Quang Ngai have quickly entered safe harbor. The government and Border Guard forces are on duty 24/7 to support fishermen in coping with the storm.

At Tinh Hoa fishing port, Quang Ngai province, hundreds of fishing boats have anchored to avoid storm No. 12.

The Port Management Board arranges and organizes ships to anchor in accordance with regulations, while strengthening fire and explosion prevention measures and protecting fishermen's property.

The port has a capacity of 350 ships, currently 210 ships have anchored. Before taking shelter, ship owners must contact the Management Board in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

In case the port is full, the Quang Ngai Province Fishing Port Management Board will guide fishermen to other ports or anchor in areas with less waves and wind in neighboring rivers.
