Attractive art program in Thuan An City

(BDO) On the evening of April 30th, an art program was held at Lai Thieu Embankment Park (Thuan An City) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The performances celebrated Vietnam's revolutionary traditions and the heroic city of Thuan An.

With the theme "The Nation's Complete Joy," the program consists of two parts: Part 1, titled "Thuan An - The Heroic City," features theatrical performances vividly recreating the glorious past of our army and people in the resistance war against foreign invaders and the struggle for national independence through songs such as "Welcome to the Communist Party of Vietnam," "Thuan An Hoa - The Land of Fire," "Thuan An - The Heroic Land," "The Nation's Complete Joy," "As if Uncle Ho were present on the day of the great victory," and "Continuing the Story of Peace ." Part 2 features performances by bands and modern dance groups from clubs in Thuan An City and Ho Chi Minh City.

The program, organized by the Thuan An City Cultural, Information and Sports Center, aims to create a joyful and vibrant atmosphere to meet the recreational needs of all segments of the population during the April 30th and May 1st holidays. Through this, the program aims to inspire patriotism and a spirit of striving in learning, training, and working to collectively build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland and country.

Propaganda floats paraded along the main streets of Thuan An City.

Leaders of the Thuận An City Cultural, Information and Sports Center and the Judging Panel presented commemorative flags and awards to the participating units.

Earlier, on the morning of April 30th, the Thuận An City Cultural, Information and Sports Center also organized the 2025 Propaganda and Mobilization Vehicle Contest. With the theme "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - the strength of national unity, the aspiration for peace, national independence and the will for national reunification," the contest attracted 10 communes and wards in the city, each with 10 elaborately decorated and meaningful vehicles. As a result, Bình Nhâm ward won first prize, An Phú ward came in second, and Vĩnh Phú ward came in third. After judging, the propaganda and mobilization vehicles paraded along the main streets of Thuận An City.
