Signing ceremony of Sub-loan Contract between HDBank and BIDV to implement projects from credit capital of TCNT 2-3 and VnSAT funded by the World Bank
With an initial total limit of VND500 billion from BIDV, HDBank will re-lend to people, production households and small businesses in the private economic sector, especially in key areas such as the Mekong Delta, the Central Highlands and localities across the country.
This capital will be deployed by HDBank through three major programs: VnSAT - Supporting farming improvements and developing rice and coffee value chains in the Mekong Delta and Central Highlands; Rural Finance II - Increasing access to capital and financial capacity for rural areas; and Rural Finance III - Financing for individuals, households and small businesses with less than 50 employees, with priority given to Vietnamese-owned entities.
This is one of the important programs, contributing to expanding financial access opportunities, promoting green agriculture and sustainable development. HDBank considers this not just a normal lending activity, but part of a long-term strategy to create sustainable value for the community and the environment.

According to Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Permanent Deputy General Director of HDBank, with the top position in the Top 10 most prestigious and effective public companies in Vietnam in 2025, HDBank has taken many pioneering steps in investing in areas such as high-tech agriculture, clean energy, and environmentally friendly projects.
The proportion of outstanding loans for the agricultural and rural areas currently reaches more than 22% of the total outstanding loans of the whole bank. More than half of HDBank's customers come from rural areas and type II urban areas. The bank has also developed its own mobile application HDBank Rural Banking designed specifically for retail customers in rural areas, and the Chain Finance Model - Agricultural Chain of the Corporate Banking segment with remarkable efficiency in recent times.
Mr. Tran Hoai Nam also affirmed that HDBank is determined to implement this credit program in a practical and effective manner, accompanying the Government and the World Bank in the process of restructuring the agricultural sector towards green, applying high technology for sustainable development, thereby contributing to improving people's lives.
After the Sub-Loan Contract signing ceremony on June 10, 2025, HDBank can access the Project's capital to provide loans to businesses, individuals, and households in the Project implementation areas, contributing to sustainable rural agricultural development in accordance with the Government's policies.
