Ngan Son District People's Council passed a Resolution approving the merger of administrative units.

Comrade Nong Binh Cuong, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary spoke at the meeting.

The meeting approved the contents of the Reports on adjusting the list of projects and the medium-term public investment capital plan for the period 2021 - 2025 to implement the National Target Programs in the district (7th time); Report on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from the district budget (9th time); Report on adjusting the public investment plan that has not been fully disbursed in 2024 and has been transferred to 2025 and the capital plan for 2025 to implement the National Target Programs in the district (2nd time); Report on allocating and adjusting the regular expenditure estimate for 2024 that has been transferred to 2025 and the 2025 estimate of the National Target Programs.

Delegates of Ngan Son District People's Council voted to pass resolutions at the Session.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussions demonstrating a constructive spirit and consensus, and political determination in implementing the Central Resolution and related guiding documents. The District People's Council also considered and decided on a number of important contents related to public investment plans and budget allocation.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nong Binh Cuong, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary emphasized: In two days (April 18-19), the district conducted a survey of people's opinions. The results of the whole district reached 99.89%, demonstrating the consensus of the people. Regarding the opinion on the arrangement of administrative units at the commune level, the whole district reached over 97%. Following the guidance documents of the superiors, the district has implemented the contents well and met the prescribed criteria. The whole Party Committee and the people trust and expect great changes at all levels and the people, especially in removing bottlenecks at the commune level.

With the spirit of urgent, serious and responsible work, the extraordinary session of the People's Council of Ngan Son district, term XX (2021 - 2026) voted and passed resolutions with high consensus of the delegates. The passing of resolutions approving the policy of arranging communal-level administrative units and the policy of arranging and merging provincial-level administrative units contributes to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of local governments, promoting sustainable socio-economic development./.
