700 veterans and students exchange cultural performances

(CT) - On the evening of April 25, the Veterans Association of Can Tho City coordinated with the Board of Directors of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMP) to organize an art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). 700 veterans and students of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy participated in the program.

In the program, the art troupe of the War Veterans Association of districts and the art troupe of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy performed songs and dances praising Uncle Ho, the Vietnam People's Army, Vietnam War Veterans, love for the homeland and country...

Previously (April 18), the Association of War Veterans of Can Tho City coordinated with the Board of Directors of Can Tho University to organize a cultural exchange and propaganda program on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Association of War Veterans at all levels in Can Tho City has carried out many projects and tasks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, such as: presenting houses of Solidarity to war veterans facing housing difficulties; mobilizing to upgrade and repair bridges and roads; installing lighting and cameras on routes; planting trees and flowers... The Association of War Veterans at all levels has coordinated to organize propaganda andeducation on the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army, Vietnam War Veterans; the significance of the great victory of Spring 1975... to union members, youth and students.
