Provincial People's Council supervises tourism development policy in Ninh Phuoc district

On May 16, the Provincial People's Council Supervision Delegation led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a thematic supervision session on the results of the implementation of policies and laws on tourism development in the period of 2021-2023 in Ninh Phuoc district.

In recent times, Ninh Phuoc district has implemented many solutions and tasks to promote local tourism development. In particular, the construction of infrastructure at tourist destinations has received investment attention. Traditional cultural values and historical relics have been preserved and effectively promoted. Special preferential policies for tourism have been developed to attract investors... Thereby, creating a strong change in tourism activities. In the period of 2021 - 2023, Ninh Phuoc district welcomed nearly 90,000 visitors to visit and experience. Besides the achieved results, local tourism still faces some difficulties and limitations such as: The overall planning and detailed planning of tourist destinations have not been completed. The staff in charge of tourism and cultural management still lack experience and expertise. Tourism promotion and advertising have not been as effective as expected.

Concluding the supervision session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the direction and implementation of the legal policies on tourism development of Ninh Phuoc district, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. In the coming time, he requested that the locality continue to strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of Resolutions at all levels related to tourism development activities. Identify potentials and advantages in terms of nature, history and culture for effective investment and exploitation of tourism. Raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the meaning and importance of tourism. Review the legal basis, planning and use of land types for tourism activities. Pay attention to directing the development of overall tourism development projects associated with the preservation and promotion of cultural and historical values. Focus on training and fostering high-quality human resources to serve tourists. Continue to promote digital transformation in tourism promotion and communication.
