According to Mark Gurman, Apple may launch a completely new MacBook Pro in 2026.
Apple has a tradition of changing the design of the MacBook Pro line every 4 years. According to this cycle, the device launched next year will have a new design, but Mark Gurman's source said that the MacBook Pro version 2025 will only be upgraded to the M5 chip and will retain the same design.

Mark Gurman predicts that Apple will launch a completely redesigned MacBook Pro with the M6 chip in 2026, which will be a huge leap in performance compared to the M4 chip. Gurman calls the 2026 MacBook Pro a "major overhaul" of the MacBook line.
Accordingly, the MacBook Pro 2026 will have a thinner and lighter design, equipped with an OLED screen, which increases brightness and displays more realistic colors, similar to the iPad Pro screen.
Mark Gurman also said that the M6 chip equipped on the MacBook Pro 2026 will be developed on a 2nm process, helping to increase performance as well as save more energy than the M4 chip developed on a 3nm process.
For the 2025 MacBook Pro, users can expect performance upgrades with the M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips, but there won't be any major changes beyond the chip upgrade.
Recently, Apple launched the new generation MacBook Pro, with chip options M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max. The product upgraded the minimum RAM to 16GB, double that of the previous generation.
