Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Texas-based supercar manufacturer, has unveiled the new 2025 Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution , the world's most powerful production car with an internal combustion engine. The next generation of the American supercar features a host of upgrades to overall performance, handling, and comfort. |

The new Venom F5 Evolution features significantly improved power and torque, improved aerodynamics for increased downforce, new adaptive suspension, improved handling and ride, and an optional exhaust system and touring seat. |

“Over the past three years, we have delivered nearly 30 F5s to customers around the world,” said John Hennessey, founder and CEO. “Some owners requested more power, which led us to develop the Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution – the world’s most powerful internal combustion engine supercar.” |

Hennessey’s longstanding relationship with Shell Pennzoil and Roger Penske led to a collaboration with high-performance engineering specialists Ilmor Engineering to upgrade the 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8, codenamed “Fury.” |

To take the Hennessey V8 engine to new levels of performance, durability and drivability, Ilmor and Hennessey engineering teams have significantly improved key engine and powertrain components, including: new-generation Precision 76/80 turbochargers (the world's largest symmetrical turbocharger pair), Ilmor-designed oval aluminum pistons with optimized geometry, ultra-high-strength aluminum alloy connecting rods, titanium exhaust valves, lightweight valve covers, and larger high-flow fuel injectors. |

The result is an incredibly powerful engine capable of accelerating from 0-321 km/h (0-200 mph) in 10.3 seconds, and is well suited to endurance racing. |

Ilmor's improvements add 214 horsepower, creating the world's most powerful commercial vehicle internal combustion engine with 2,031 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 1,959 Nm of torque at 5,200 rpm, using environmentally friendly E85 fuel. |

The F5 Evolution's new adaptive suspension system allows the driver to change the car's "ride" by selecting modes via a switch on the steering wheel. |

Comfort, handling, roll, yaw and steering feedback are automatically set to allow the supercar to be configured from high-performance track driving to comfortable cruising on the road. On the road, the suspension delivers more confidence while absorbing vibrations for a more relaxed ride. |

On the track, performance is significantly improved, maintaining stability, strong overtaking ability, while increasing grip and precision when cornering. The new suspension is specifically tuned for the five selectable modes of the super-powerful 2025 Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution – Sport, Road Race, Drag, Wet and F5 mode with full power. |

Aerodynamics were developed based on data from road, track, runway and wind tunnel testing. Working with F1 and IndyCar aerodynamics expert Dr Mark Handford and the team, they studied the aerodynamics of the entire car in new detail. The result was a completely redesigned front splitter, with the most significant changes under the car. |

The Hennessey team also added small wings in front of each front wheel, tire air deflectors, and air outlets above each front wheel arch. |

Combined with the new suspension, a new Gurney wing enhances high-speed stability under acceleration and braking. Hennessey’s design and engineering teams have developed the “Touring” option, which addresses the desires of some customers who want to use the F5 for touring. |

Options include lightweight carbon bucket seats and a sports exhaust, and even carbon fiber cup holders. After some research, the optional “Touring Carbon” seats are padded for long trips. With exposed carbon backs, the leather Touring seats also feature a laser-cut “blast off” design to accentuate the aerospace-inspired interior. |

The Evolution Package (engine, suspension, aerodynamic upgrades) is available for newly ordered F5s and all Venom F5 models: Coupe, Roadster and Revolution. The cost of the Evolution Package is $285,000. The Touring Package is an optional extra and will cost extra. |
