After many years of working in other provinces, in 2016, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang decided to return to his hometown to start a business. With the desire to exploit the family's hilly land, along with the available local raw materials, he researched and processed chicken feed from corn, rice, soybeans, combined with calcium worms, also known as black soldier fly larvae. This is a nutritious food for poultry, because it contains 5.8% calcium and up to 42% protein.

During the egg-laying stage, Mr. Hoang will mix calcium with other foods so that the chickens can fully absorb nutrients and produce eggs of the best quality.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang, Director of Hoang Thuy Agricultural Production and Livestock Services Cooperative said: " I chose this model to reduce input costs, improve product quality, create a difference for eggs, and reduce waste to the environment."

In early 2020, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang and his friends established Hoang Thuy Agricultural Production and Livestock Service Cooperative, investing in building a farm on an area of over 2 hectares. Currently, the farm has over 10,000 chickens, including 5,000 egg-laying chickens, which can harvest 4,000 eggs per day. In addition to supplementing calcium, chickens are also fed organic foods, growing and developing in a natural environment, so the egg products are of high quality. According to the test results of specialized agencies, the cooperative's calcium chicken egg products do not contain banned substances in livestock farming, do not have antibiotic residues and growth stimulants, and have higher nutritional value than regular eggs. In particular, the calcium content is up to 357 mg/1kg of eggs, 1.5 times higher than regular chicken eggs.

In April 2024, the calcium chicken egg product of Hoang Thuy Agricultural Production and Livestock Service Cooperative was recognized by the People's Committee of Nhu Thanh district as a 3-star Ocop product.

From the initial successes, Hoang Thuy Agricultural Production and Livestock Service Cooperative is expanding its links, transferring techniques to farmers, increasing the number of chicken flocks, improving egg production, enhancing the brand of calcium chicken eggs, meeting the increasing demand of consumers in and outside the province.
