The principal of a nearly 70-year-old school in Bien Hoa tells students to 'cherish every moment with loved ones during summer vacation'

(DN)- On the morning of May 22, Ngo Quyen High School, a school with nearly 70 years of history in Bien Hoa city, concluded the 2024-2025 school year.

In a brief speech to more than 1,300 students, before they entered the 2025 summer vacation, Principal Phan Trong Nghia emotionally sent a message: “Spend your summer vacation doing meaningful things. Always cherish every precious moment with your loved ones and family every summer day.

Children should share love through concrete actions, such as helping their parents with housework, actively participating in local community activities, and joining hands to build a better community.

Principal Phan Trong Nghia also advised: “Students should always raise their awareness of protecting themselves, staying away from social evils, and at the same time being exemplary in strictly following traffic safety laws. Each of your correct actions today will be a stepping stone for a mature, stable and kind future.”

Sending words of encouragement and farewell to 425 grade 12 students preparing to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam and striving to become university students, Principal Phan Trong Nghia expressed his understanding and trust: “This summer will be a "season of challenges" for you with very important exams, deciding a major turning point in your life. There will be pressure, sleepless nights studying, anxiety and fatigue. But with the willpower and determination of 12 years of diligent study, you will have enough courage to overcome everything to reach your dreams."

As a school with a tradition of good teaching and learning, in the 2024-2025 school year, Ngo Quyen High School continues to achieve many outstanding achievements, including nearly 100% of students achieving good or excellent academic performance. The school has 1 student participating in the National 12th Grade Excellent Student Competition and winning third prize in Literature. 85/90 students participating in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition won prizes, including 11 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 33 third prizes and 26 consolation prizes.
