For the first time, Dak Nong organized a professional off-road racing tournament, attracting 158 domestic and foreign racers to participate. Taking place in Nam Nung forest, the race is not only an adventurous playground for speed enthusiasts, but also a boost for tourism and sports in the province.

On October 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong coordinated with the Saigon Off-Road Vehicle Club to organize an off-road racing competition in the natural forest.

This is the first time Dak Nong province has organized a professional off-road car racing tournament. The tournament has 79 racing teams with 158 domestic athletes, 1 international racing team, participating with a variety of car models and car brands.

With a total prize of more than 500 million VND, off-road racing in natural forests is divided into many categories including: adventure, upgrade and professional.

The off-road racing competition in the natural forest took place in Gia Nghia City and Nam Nung natural forest area, Nam N'Jang commune, Dak Song district. The organizing committee designed 25 racing routes and positions for spectators to easily follow. The racing route was designed to focus on safety for spectators, athletes, and the organizing committee.

Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Vice President of Saigon Off-Road Vehicle Club, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the race aims to build a healthy off-road vehicle sports movement in the country. Thereby, helping to improve the understanding of safe driving techniques for off-road vehicle users in particular and car drivers in general.

The off-road racing tournament in the natural forest not only brings breakthrough and dramatic experiences to speed enthusiasts, it is also an opportunity to awaken the tourism potential of Dak Nong land.

Mr. Ho Anh Tuan said: "This race has many first-time contents such as: the first time being organized on 100% natural mountain and forest terrain; this is the first race where we bring models and simulated terrain of the race track so that people of Dak Nong as well as people across the country when coming to watch the race have the opportunity to experience and test drive the terrain".
