(NADS) - The "HLU Debate Tournament" is a debate competition organized by the Lawyers' Skills Club under Hanoi Law University.
With the desire to build and develop a professional and competitive debate environment for students nationwide and Vietnamese students living and studying abroad.
This program is not just an academic playground, but also a source of great ideas and different thinking that can change society.
Entering its 9th season, HLU Debate Tournament has affirmed its position as one of the most prestigious debate playgrounds, attracting the attention of many debaters and audiences from all over. The event welcomed over 250 audiences to attend the Final Night at the 2023 tournament.
After nearly 1 month of opening applications (November 14 - December 12), this year's tournament has gathered more than 30 debate teams from universities across the country, promising to bring remarkable innovations. The rounds will be organized strictly and emphasize accuracy in evaluation. This is also a stage for contestants to express their creativity. The debate topics are designed to deeply explore the most concerned social issues, from climate change, gender equality, to the role of technology in the digital age.
The final round will take place on December 22 at Hanoi Law University.
