"I feel positive. The board has told me. Everything is fine and will be fine," coach Ten Hag shared about his future before the match between Man Utd and Liverpool in round 17 of the Premier League (11:30 p.m. on December 17) at Anfield.

Last weekend, Man Utd were eliminated from the Champions League right from the group stage after losing 0-1 to Bayern Munich in the final match. Before that, the "Red Devils" also suffered an embarrassing defeat with a score of 0-3 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the 16th round of the Premier League.
Coach Ten Hag's team is having a disappointing season, being eliminated from the Champions League, Europa League, and Carabao Cup. Now the Manchester club only has hope in the Premier League, but they are still struggling in 7th place with 27 points after 16 rounds.
If Man Utd continue to lose at Anfield, they will help Liverpool consolidate their top position and leave them 13 points behind. However, the Dutch strategist is still confident that his "hot seat" will stand firm even if they accept defeat.
"I'm focused on the long-term, focused on making the team better and making the individuals better. That's my concern and that's what I'm focused on.
Man Utd are not stable at the moment but I have to work hard to build a squad that can play for a longer time at a higher level," said coach Ten Hag.

Notably, in the clash with Liverpool at Anfield last year, the "Red Devils" were completely overwhelmed by Jurgen Klopp's team and won with a score of up to 7-0. It was a painful experience for Man Utd but coach Ten Hag believes his players have learned their lesson.
"I think everyone is highly motivated this time coming to Anfield. You know it's going to be tough. But that's what top footballers want, they want a challenge.
You have to look forward. We remember last year, but you have to take advantage of it and learn from it. We can prove that," the Dutch strategist affirmed.
