Support of more than 22.5 billion VND for fishing boat owners participating in exploiting offshore waters

(Quang Binh Portal) - On April 5, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 826/QD-UBND on allocating more than 22.5 billion VND from the Central budget to support fishing vessel owners participating in offshore fishing.

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee transferred nearly 2 billion VND to the State Treasury of Dong Hoi city; more than 3.1 billion VND to Quang Trach district; more than 5.6 billion VND to Bo Trach district; and more than 11.7 billion VND to Ba Don town to support the cost of purchasing hull insurance, crew accident insurance, and fuel costs for round-trip trips for fishing boat owners.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to ensure funding for payment; the State Treasury of districts, cities and towns publicly announced the schedule of providing support money to fishermen and crew members so that fishermen know and can complete procedures to receive support money.

It is known that this is the 7th support period from the beginning of 2024 to present.
