Financial support for villages, residential areas and family gardens that meet model new rural standards

In order to encourage and motivate villages, residential areas, and households to actively participate in the new rural construction movement; striving to have 2 villages, 4 residential areas, and 4 household gardens meeting model new rural standards by 2025, the People's Committee of Quang Tri town has just issued a plan to support funding for villages, residential areas, and household gardens recognized as meeting model new rural standards in Hai Le commune in the period of 2021-2025.

Total support budget is from 388 - 400 million VND, specifically: model new-style rural villages (2 villages) 180 million VND; model new-style rural residential areas (4 residential areas) 180 million VND; model gardens (4 gardens) from 28 - 40 million VND.

Accordingly, the villages, residential areas, and family gardens that are supported must ensure that they fully comply with the criteria set by the Provincial and Municipal People's Committees and are evaluated and recognized by the Municipal People's Committees. Support must be provided to the right beneficiaries, in accordance with the process, and in a transparent and democratic manner. Each village, residential area, and model garden will only be supported once during the period.

For villages, support will be provided through welfare and civil works (renovation, repair) or purchasing equipment for community cultural and sports activities in the village worth 90 million VND. For residential areas, support will be provided through welfare and civil works (renovation, repair) or purchasing equipment for community cultural and sports activities in the residential area worth 45 million VND.

For standard household model gardens that are recognized, gardens from 500 - 1,000 ^m2 will be supported with seeds, materials, and equipment for building, maintaining, and caring for the garden worth 7 million VND; gardens over 1,000 ^m2 will be supported with seeds, materials, and equipment for building, maintaining, and caring for the garden worth 10 million VND. The implementation cost will come from the economic career source arranged in the annual budget estimate of the town.
