Peace in me is so beautiful!

During the April days commemorating the great victory of spring 1975, I was able to watch historical films and listen to revolutionary songs about the heroic days of the nation. I have never felt as happy, proud and in love with my country as I do now.

50 years of peace, a period of time equal to half a lifetime, was exchanged for millions of lives of heroic martyrs, was written by the sweat and tears of millions of fathers and grandfathers, together building the country, making Vietnam rise like a fragrant lotus growing from the swamp of fierce ruins of war. Peace in me is so beautiful, because I get to live next to my family, friends and loved ones; to study, to work with passion, and to dedicate myself to life, to the country.

These days, when participating in the welcoming activities, walking among young people wearing red flags with yellow stars, I feel lucky to be one of those tasked with continuing to write the heroic pages of the nation's history.

One swallow cannot make a spring, one man cannot make history. I, and I hope that people of my generation, will not be afraid of hardships, will take advantage of the achievements of our ancestors, both to train political qualities, cultivate morality, and strive to acquire knowledge, master technology, innovate, preserve and build a culture imbued with national identity, a developed economy and technology, a civilized society, and maintain national independence and sovereignty.

If 50 years after the unification day, today we can hear our fathers and brothers tell the tragic and heroic stories of a time of resistance and peace, then I hope that 50 years later, we will be able to proudly tell our children and grandchildren about the glorious history of building the country and protecting peace that we - the young generation today - continue to write.

Looking back, I am proud that we have moved from the tragic war to the aspiration to rise up, creating a dynamic, open and creative Vietnam.

Peace to me is not only the absence of gunfire, but also the space for each individual to freely nurture ideas, work peacefully and honor their own values. These days, I see peace most beautifully in the smiles of children running around on the streets, in outdoor cafes filled with laughter, and in the image of young people full of enthusiasm for starting businesses and building the future.

As a young generation, we are determined to continue writing a glorious history with concrete actions: participating in digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence (AI) to solve social challenges, promoting green - clean - sustainable startups. The Chatbot Vietnam team and I set ourselves the goal of helping hundreds of small and micro businesses automate customer service each year, creating more jobs for the community and spreading the quality of "made in Vietnam" services to the world .

As a technology entrepreneur, I am committed to continuing to work with the city government, the startup community and universities to organize hackathons, practical bootcamps, support funding and provide professional advice to more than 1,000 startup ideas each year. Because I believe that the strength of the young generation lies not only in knowledge, but also in the spirit of dedication and the desire to unite for a prosperous Vietnam.

Peace has given us wings, now is the time for our generation to spread out strongly, bringing the city and the country high on the global technology map in the new era.

Appreciate and cherish the value of peace

Born in peacetime, from the heroic homeland of Quang Tri - a place that witnessed both the pain of separation and the joy of reunion between the North and the South, I am more deeply aware of the value of peace and unity. 50 years of the country's reunification is not only a highlight of history, but also a source of motivation urging me to live a more worthy life with the sacrifices of many generations of fathers and brothers.

In April, when I sang "As if Uncle Ho were here" loudly on the day of great victory with thousands of young people, or when I joined the "patriotic bloc" in the parade rehearsal ... I felt very clearly: peace is beautiful! Because peace is not only the absence of war, but also the fluttering national flag, the vibrant pace of life, the opportunity for every young person to aspire, be creative and reach far.

It is that pride that has fueled in me the determination to constantly train and develop my inner strength - because only when we are strong from within, can we proactively and sustainably integrate with the world. I carry within me the aspiration to continue writing heroic pages of history with the young generation through efforts to study, innovate, contribute to the community, build a civilized, modern, and affectionate Ho Chi Minh City and contribute to a deeply integrated Vietnam in the new era - with the spirit of "I love my Fatherland".

I myself was fortunate to be invited to participate in a small part of the parade of businessmen celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification. I felt more clearly the simple but extremely precious beauty of peace when we walked in the hearts of the people, under the bright red flag and the sound of clapping, cheering, and laughter; most of all, the spirit of unity singing the song of peace.

As a young generation, I feel responsible for continuing to write that glorious history with practical actions. I feel extremely lucky and grateful to be born and raised in peace, without having to hear the sound of bombs, witness the loss, pain, and separation during the war like my grandparents and parents. 50 years of national reunification, to me, is not only a historical milestone but also a sacred value, an extremely special emotion that connects generations. Let me understand that there have been so many lives, so many generations that have fallen for the country to stand up. And there have been so many 19, 20 year olds who were willing to exchange their blood and youth to regain independence and freedom for the Fatherland. Today's youth are so proud!

Living in the historic days of April in the city named after beloved Uncle Ho, I clearly felt the peace appearing so beautifully and deeply. It was the image of the streets filled with red flags with yellow stars fluttering, the meaningful atmosphere, pride and patriotism rising in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen, the image of troops marching in the hearts of the people... Being immersed in and feeling those moments made me extremely happy and moved. Peace gave us the right to dream, to grow up without fear, to love and build the future with our own hands and minds.
