Hoa Binh welcomes over 250,000 tourists during Tet holiday

Kinhtedothi - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province said that during the Lunar New Year, there were over 250,000 visitors coming to visit and stay at tourist areas and spots in the province.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province, during the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday, over 250,000 visitors came to visit and stay at the province's tourist areas and spots, including nearly 6,000 international visitors and over 244,200 domestic visitors, an increase of 25% compared to 2024. Total revenue from tourism business activities reached 132 billion VND, an increase of 11.8%.

During Tet, to attract tourists, many localities and units in Hoa Binh have organized cultural and tourism events with strong imprints associated with promoting and boosting tourism activities.

In addition, tourist areas and destinations have carefully prepared conditions to welcome visitors, and at the same time built many attractive entertainment programs and new products exploiting the cultural values of traditional Tet to attract tourists.
