What will Miss Thanh Thuy do when she returns to Vietnam?

On the afternoon of November 18, the new Miss International Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy had a meeting with the media and fans of her country.

After nearly a week of being crowned the finalist of "Miss International 2024", Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy returned to Vietnam. The series of Homecoming events welcoming the beauty queen were organized by Sen Vang Company - the copyright holder of Miss International Vietnam and a professional crew.

The event attracted a lot of public attention when Thanh Thuy officially appeared radiantly at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 9:00 a.m. Wearing a traditional ao dai and the crown of "Miss International 2024", she received a warm welcome from hundreds of fans, family and friends.

Immediately after arriving at the airport, she boarded a double-decker bus specially prepared for the journey through the central routes of Ho Chi Minh City. The parade passed through many important locations and routes of the city, including Nguyen Van Troi Street, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Thong Nhat Hall, Dong Khoi Street, City Theater, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, City People's Committee, City Post Office , Le Duan Street, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Nguyen Cuu Van Street, Tran Van Khe Street and finally stopped at the headquarters of Sen Vang Company.

Standing on the double-decker bus, Miss Thanh Thuy always smiled and waved to fans and people eagerly following the journey. The parade was also broadcast live on social media platforms, creating an opportunity for domestic and international audiences to follow and support the beauty.

In an emotional moment, Thanh Thuy shared: "Thanh Thuy feels very happy and touched because everyone has been waiting and welcoming me so warmly. I would like to thank the audience for their love. Today I have truly returned to the loving arms of the Vietnamese audience. I am truly happy and proud."

This is the first time a Vietnamese representative has won the highest position at the 62-year-old competition, marking a proud historical milestone for Vietnamese beauty on the international stage.

Thanh Thuy with ideas to promote Vietnam-Japan relations

During the media meeting, Thanh Thuy shared that she had plans for her 1-year journey to fulfill her mission as the new Miss International. After the Homecoming series, she will continue to carry out the project of bringing clean water to people in Ben Tre with the help of Sen Vang Company and Miss International organization.

According to the Miss International unit, Thanh Thuy's victory at the contest is the beginning of Vietnam's next battles in international beauty arenas. Before coming to Miss International, Thanh Thuy was Miss Vietnam since 2022 and she had a long journey to prepare for the international contest. Therefore, her victory is completely understandable.

Thanh Thuy also added that in the coming days, especially the upcoming November 20th, visiting her teachers and old school is one of her important plans in Vietnam.
