On the evening of October 13, the National Costume Show of Miss Grand International 2025 took place in Bangkok (Thailand). This is always a highly anticipated performance at every beauty pageant. In this competition, contestants appeared in unique, creative designs to honor the cultural identity of each country.
Vietnam representative - Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi - performed the Thang Long Hoi costume. The design was inspired by the art of water puppetry, recreating the image of the communal house by the lake, where folk stories are kept, carrying the message of preserving and spreading Vietnamese identity to the world .

Before leaving for Thailand to compete, Miss Yen Nhi had an impressive Thang Long Hoi costume performance with the highlight being the fireworks effect shot from a dragon-shaped prop. However, at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant, this special part was omitted.
Yen Nhi said that due to safety reasons and air transport regulations, the artillery unit could not be brought to Thailand. In addition, the performance duration was quite short, only allowing for a few seconds of posing at the end of the stage, while the artillery effect lasted nearly 1 minute, so she decided to skip this part to ensure safety and professionalism.
Despite the rather bulky design and the weight of nearly 30kg, Yen Nhi still confidently performed, spinning many times on stage. The impressive dragon dance performance of the Vietnamese beauty received much applause from the audience.
After the National Costume Show, Sash Factor voted for the 20 most impressive costumes and Yen Nhi was also on this list with the 11th rank.
The atmosphere of the National Costume Show was very exciting with a series of brilliant designs bearing the cultural imprint of each country. Many contestants invested a lot of effort, with heavy and meticulously finished costumes. Costumes inspired by cuisine also delighted the audience.
Miss Grand Philippines - a strong candidate in Asia - showed off her good performance skills. Her costume had beautiful stage effects and flattered her figure. She is currently the contestant with the highest number of votes in the National Costume Performance.
Indian representative - Vishakha Kanwar - confused fans when she brought the image of President Nawat Itsaragrisil into her national costume design.
Miss Grand Dominican Republic performed in a national costume with bold floral inspiration.
Miss Grand Australia transformed into a beautiful and charming fairy. Her performance also had beautiful effects.
Miss Grand Laos brought an impressive and innovative outfit to the stage. This performance also received much applause from the audience.
Miss Grand Palestine brought the message "Pray for peace" to the stage. Her costume received a lot of support from the audience watching the contest.
As of October 14, the sub-contests at Miss Grand International 2025 have been completed. Yen Nhi's current achievement is being in the top 20 of the Country's Power of the Year contest.
The final round of the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant, with the participation of 77 contestants from all over the world, will take place on October 18. Before the final round, the beauties will go through the semi-final round. According to President Nawat, this year's contest has gathered a very high-quality and even group of contestants.
Vietnam’s representative, Yen Nhi, is trying her best in the final round but her performance is not really impressive. She did not make it to the top in the Talent and Eloquence competitions.
Vietnam's representative - Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien - was crowned in the 2021 season, while beauty Que Anh stopped early in the 2024 season.
