After a 2-0 victory over Taiwan at Rajamangala Stadium in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on October 9, the Thai team is full of confidence despite having to play away at Taipel Municipal Stadium.

After only 4 minutes of play, the away team opened the scoring when Supachok Sarachat passed the ball to Teerasak Poeiphimai who ran in and cushioned the ball into the net from close range, beating goalkeeper Huang Chiu-Lin.

In the 25th minute, Supachok Sarachat showed his excellent ability to create when he delicately passed the ball to Seksan Ratri to escape into the penalty area and decisively finish to help the home team lead by two goals.

Right before the end of the first half, Supachok Sarachat continued to shine with his own goal (minute 45+1) after a beautiful combination with captain Chanathip Songkrasin.

Entering the second half, when the ball had just rolled for less than 1 minute, the home team suddenly scored a goal to shorten the score to 1-3 when striker Po-wei Kuo finished hard from outside the penalty area, the ball passed goalkeeper Patiwat Khammai's hands and went straight into the net.

However, the Thai players still calmly controlled the ball in midfield and made the home team always have difficulty defending against the attacking pressure created by the away team.

In the 59th minute, the home team's goal was shaken when Teerasak Poeiphimai and Chanathip Songkrasin had chances to shoot in the penalty area, but fortunately, goalkeeper Huang Chiu-Lin made excellent saves to save the home team.

However, just 3 minutes later, Santiphap Channgorm dribbled on the left wing before crossing the ball to Teerasak Poeiphimai, who was unmarked and finished, raising the score to 4-1 for the home team.

The loss made the home team's players' morale go down and they had to receive a fifth goal in the 76th minute, when Teerasak Poeiphimai scored a hat-trick of his own and Supachok Sarachat also scored a hat-trick of assists.
