The exhibition was organized by the “For a livable Hanoi ” network (VMHNDS) in collaboration with the Vietnam Wild Bird Research and Conservation Association (VBCS) and other social organizations with financial and technical support from the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, aiming to introduce wild, migratory and resident birds in Hanoi as well as the need to preserve natural habitats, thereby raising awareness of environmental protection, preventing bird hunting, and practicing a lifestyle in harmony with nature for Hanoians.
35 works displaying photos of birds taken in Hanoi were taken by 18 photographers who are members of the Vietnam Association for Research and Conservation of Wild Birds and a number of freelance photographers.
The works partly represent the great value that nature bestows on Hanoi, with the expectation that the beauty of wild birds will promote the participation of individuals, groups, social organizations and the public more in the common effort to protect habitats and live in harmony with nature in the capital.
The exhibition also includes small games with prizes such as trees, photo posters and bookmarks, etc. The exhibition will last until November 26, 2023.
