Hoai Duc gives support to Great Solidarity houses for 2 poor households

On June 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoai Duc district organized a fund-raising ceremony to support the construction and repair of Great Solidarity houses for two disadvantaged households in Duong Lieu commune.

Accordingly, the Hoai Duc District Fatherland Front Committee has provided support to two families in difficult circumstances to build new Great Unity houses, including: Mr. Nguyen Phi Quang's family, in Moi village; Mrs. Tien Thi La's family, in Gia village, both in Duong Lieu commune. Each family received support of 100 million VND, the funding source was taken from the Hoai Duc District "For the Poor" Fund.

Directly handing over the support money to the households, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoai Duc district Nguyen Thanh Tu affirmed: The timely support for the disadvantaged households in Duong Lieu commune in particular and Hoai Duc district in general is a clear demonstration of the strength of the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance in the community. This is also a source of encouragement and motivation for the less fortunate to have more faith and determination to rise up in life. Thereby, it further affirms the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in consolidating the great national unity bloc, making an important contribution to the cause of building advanced new rural areas and civilized urban areas of Hoai Duc district.
