SJC gold price remains close to 119 million VND/tael

On the morning of June 20, the price of SJC gold bars remained unchanged, continuing to trade close to the 119 million VND/tael mark.

Opening the market, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at 116.7-117.4 million VND/tael (buy) and 119.4 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day.

For gold rings, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price at 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of yesterday.

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set the price at 114.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.5 million VND/tael (sell), down 100,000 VND/tael each way.

Phu Quy Group also lowered 100,000 VND/tael each way, listing at 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.5 million VND/tael (sell).

The buying-selling price range commonly given by businesses is 2-3 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, at first the gold price remained the same, then the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 200,000 VND/tael each way, and gold rings decreased by 100,000-200,000 VND/tael.

In the international market, early this morning, the gold price was trading at 3,365 USD/ounce, down 19 USD from the peak of the session and down 10 USD/ounce compared to the same time the previous day.

Gold prices fell as the US market was closed for a holiday and monetary policies at some central banks were mixed.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the world gold price was trading at 3,365 USD/ounce, converted to nearly 13 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
