On June 21, the summer volunteers, who are young people from Ho Chi Minh City, completed the project of decorating the library walls at Tam Thanh Primary School - Campus 2 on Phu Quy Island District. In addition, the project "Friendly Library, Digital Transformation" was also deployed at Trieu Duong Campus.
The vivid, familiar, and colorful drawings have brought a fresh learning space to the students on the remote island. This is also the beginning of the project “Friendly, digitally transformed library” – where knowledge is illuminated by both color and technology.
According to Mr. Le Duc Dat, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association and Commander of the campaign in Phu Quy, the image of dry walls gradually being given new clothes with paintings, colors and positive messages is the spiritual gift that the soldiers want to convey: knowledge is the most beautiful baggage of childhood.

Previously, in Tam Thanh commune, soldiers coordinated with local union members and youth to carry out the project "National Flag Route", contributing to spreading patriotism and love for the country.
Young people also sketched the Tam Thanh mural line "Continuing the story of peace" which became a check-in place for tourists, locals and children on the island.

At Tam Thanh Kindergarten (Hoi An village facility), soldiers built new toilets and installed a children's playground, providing better living conditions for children.
During 15 days in Phu Quy island district, the team carried out over 20 projects and tasks of the summer volunteer season, such as lighting up security roads (in Tam Thanh and Ngu Phung communes), installing solar energy systems (at the sovereignty flagpole on the island); building playgrounds and toilets for kindergartens and primary schools.

The campaign also donated water purifiers, televisions, medicine cabinets, school backpacks, organized summer classes, health communication, and provided free medical examinations and medicine to people.
