After 3 exciting days with many highlights, on the afternoon of June 21, the 2025 National Press Festival with the theme "Loyal, creative, courageous, innovative Vietnamese press for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" closed at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ).

Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang; Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh; General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Do Tien Sy. Also attending were Alternate Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh; representatives of departments, ministries, branches, and organizations; and representatives of press agencies nationwide.
In his closing speech, journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Journalists Association and Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Press Festival, emphasized that in the joy and pride of the press community nationwide on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the 2025 National Press Festival attracted nearly 130 booths displaying outstanding press products from 124 central and local press agencies.

The exhibition booths were elaborately invested, diverse in form and content, showing a panoramic picture of the professional and modern development of Vietnamese journalism. The cheerful and open atmosphere of exchange between journalists and people created a warm and friendly press conference, helping the public understand more about journalism and the sacrifices and efforts of journalists. This is truly a great encouragement and spirit booster for Vietnamese journalists.
Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi emphasized that through exhibitions, displays, professional, cultural and artistic activities, the National Press Association has highlighted the contributions and strong development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past 100 years, while promoting press products, the achievements of labor and creativity of journalists - members of the Vietnam Journalists Association nationwide.

One of the most outstanding features of this year's National Press Festival, according to journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, is the clear demonstration of the trend of digital transformation and technology application in journalism. Many agencies have brought multimedia press products, new technology applications such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality to attract readers, showing the initiative and determination of the press in keeping up with the pace of development of advanced technology in the world.
Specialized forums on artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, journalism economics... have attracted great attention, proving that these are issues that the press is struggling with and seeking solutions to.
The Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized that the 2025 National Press Festival was honored to welcome the highest leaders of the Party and State, along with leaders of central and local departments, ministries, and branches, and international guests to attend, visit, and share the joy with journalists nationwide.

In addition to providing journalists with many quality professional activities, the National Press Festival also brings to the public elaborate and unique art programs. The events have been broadcast live on national television and radio, and spread to hundreds of press agencies of ministries, departments, branches, organizations and local press throughout the country.
At the same time, the Organizing Committee also listened to and received many comments from leaders, colleagues and the public on the organization of the National Press Festival in 2025 to gain experience for the following periods.

“The 2025 National Press Festival has ended, but the values, lessons and inspiration it brought will continue to resonate. I believe that with its 100-year glorious tradition, steadfastness, dynamism, creativity and high sense of responsibility, the Vietnamese revolutionary press will continue to reap even more success, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people,” said journalist Nguyen Duc Loi.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 National Press Festival will dedicate all participating publications to naval and border guards; demonstrating the interest and gratitude of the press and the whole society towards the forces that are day and night guarding the sea, islands and borders of the Fatherland.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for each category to the units, including 5 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 16 C prizes, 19 Encouragement prizes for Impressive Exhibition Booths; 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 12 C prizes for Impressive Events and Activities within the framework of the Press Festival; 8 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes for Impressive Press Products.
The Hanoi Journalists Association won the C prize in the category of Impressive Exhibition Booth. The Hanoi Moi Newspaper won the Encouragement prize in the category of Impressive Press Products.

The Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of "Contributing to the success of the National Press Festival 2025 - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day" to collectives, units and individuals; Certificates to entrepreneurs and enterprises "Accompanying the National Press Festival 2025 - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".
