At the end of the week, gold price increased to nearly 120 million VND/tael

On the weekend of June 21, domestic gold price increased to nearly 120 million VND/tael.

Opening, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at 117.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.7 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 300,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

For gold rings, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed at 113.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.2 million VND/tael (sell), up 200,000 VND/tael each way.

Phu Quy Group increased by 100,000 VND/tael each way, to 113.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.4 million VND/tael (sell).

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price at 114.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.4 million VND/tael (sell) compared to 114.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.3 million VND/tael (sell) at the end of the previous day.

In the international market, the price of gold fluctuated little at the end of the week, stopping at 3,369 USD/ounce, converted to nearly 13 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

Looking back at the domestic gold market, on the first day of the week, June 16, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by VND200,000/tael (buying) and VND700,000/tael (selling), down below VND120 million/tael, to VND117.6 million/tael (buying) - VND119.6 million/tael (selling) in the context of the world's precious metal prices falling. Two days later, the gold price remained unchanged, continuing to stay at the above level.

On June 19, the price of precious metals initially remained the same, then decreased by VND200,000/tael each way, down to VND117.4 million/tael (buy) - VND119.4 million/tael (sell).

Thus, compared to last weekend, the price of SJC gold bars has decreased by 600,000 VND/tael.

Gold ring prices also fluctuated little last week and did not change much compared to last weekend.
