Eastern College trains in occupational safety and hygiene

(DN) - On August 16, Eastern College coordinated with VRG Khai Hoan Joint Stock Company (Bau Bang Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City) to organize training on occupational safety and hygiene for workers.

The training course on occupational safety and hygiene was held for 3 days from August 14 to 16 for all 360 workers of the company .

The occupational safety and hygiene class is designed by the Eastern College specifically for each company and business unit , helping workers gain basic knowledge to ensure good safety in work, production, health protection, and at the same time improve the production and business efficiency of the enterprise.

As someone who has been with the company for 16 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nu shared: “Every year, the company organizes training classes on occupational safety and hygiene for all workers. I attend the training class to gain knowledge for myself as well as for other workers.”

Ms. Mai Thi Canh, a worker in the data team, glove removal department, also said: "Attending this class helps workers avoid occupational safety risks and gain knowledge to protect themselves and their health."

Eastern College is a unit licensed by the former Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, now the Ministry of Home Affairs , to organize training and education on occupational safety and hygiene since 2015. Up to now, the school has organized many training courses for companies and business units inside and outside the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.
