Hoang My An releases Valentine's Day music

Singer Hoang My An collaborated with Korean singer Samuel for the first time in the MV "Wanna Hear You Say" on Valentine's Day.

My An got to know Samuel through her Korean music director. The two were in sync emotionally and acted well together when making the video.

"I'm both happy and worried about collaborating with an international singer. I have high hopes for this MV, considering it a fresh start for 2025," said Hoang My An.

Wanna Hear You Say It is a pop ballad, telling the story of a couple who love each other but do not dare to express it. "I believe many people have experienced unrequited love or are shy to express it so that the other person understands. For me, loving and learning to say I love you is an experience that must be had in life," she said.

Samuel's team came to Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning of the year to film the MV with Hoang My An. According to the singer, during the process of working together, they had many memories. My An once secretly organized a birthday party for Samuel at the studio, introducing him to many traditional Vietnamese cultural features.

Hoang My An, 28 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City, was a danesport champion, runner-up of Dancing with the Stars 2013. In 2015, after graduating from high school, she went to the US to study and quickly became involved with the stage. My An was exposed to and learned from many veteran faces such as Y Lan and Huong Thuy. The young singer has performed in more than 20 cities in the US and has been welcomed by overseas communities in Australia, Singapore, and Canada. In 2022, she graduated from the University of Southern California, majoring in Music Industry with a near-perfect score - 3.95/4.0 GPA.

In 2023, Hoang My An participated in the music show Masked Singer through the image of Bach Khong Tuoc, attracting attention through the song Last letter to you. In late 2024, the singer introduced EP Phieu An , marking 20 years of pursuing art.

Kim Samuel, real name Samuel Kim Arredondo, 23 years old, was born in the US, with a Mexican father and a Korean mother. At the age of 11, Samuel became a trainee of Pledis Entertainment, working until 2013. The singer attracted a large number of fans thanks to his handsome appearance, sweet voice, and skillful choreography.

In 2015, he debuted as a member of the hip hop group 1Punch. A year later, Samuel worked under the stage name Punch, collaborating with Silento - the owner of the hit Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) - to release single Spotlight . This song helped him win the category. Global cooperation at the Seoul Music Awards. In Vietnam, he has an active FC with thousands of members.
