According to the report at the conference, after 3 months of merger and operation, the socio -economic situation in the province is basically stable. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the third quarter of 2025 is estimated to increase by 6.88% over the same period last year, of which: agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 2.26%; industry and construction increased by 11.06% (industry alone increased by 12.76%; construction increased by 6.95%); services increased by 7.30%; product tax minus product subsidies increased by 2.26%. In the first 9 months of the year, GRDP is estimated to increase by 7.31% over the same period last year (ranked 23rd out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide; 3rd out of 6 provinces and cities in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands), of which: agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 3.77%; Industry and construction increased by 10.93% (industry alone increased by 11.97%; construction increased by 8.05%); services increased by 7.53%; product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 1.42%.
In the first 9 months of 2025, the industrial production index increased by 9.51% over the same period; in which the manufacturing and processing industry increased by 7.78%. Notably, in the first 9 months, the whole province had 80 projects with a total investment capital of VND 10,281 billion in operation; of which, there were 8 key projects with a total investment capital of VND 8,955 billion. Compared to the same period in 2024, there was an increase of 36 projects, equivalent to an increase of VND 5,934 billion in investment capital.
The whole province attracted 144 projects with a total registered investment capital of 78,003 billion VND, including 130 domestic investment projects and 14 FDI projects. Some large-scale projects that the province has attracted are: Polyester Fabric Recycling Production Complex Project of Syre Group (Sweden) with a registered investment capital of 24,970 billion VND (1 billion USD); Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Plant Project with a total registered investment capital of 5,700 billion VND; Phu My Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 1 with a total registered investment capital of 4,569.4 billion VND; Hoa Sen Nhon Hoi - Binh Dinh Steel Factory Expansion Investment Project with a total registered investment capital of 2,333 billion VND; Renewable Energy Human Resources Training and Development Center Project with a total registered investment capital of 2,300 billion VND...
Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are estimated at over VND 149,000 billion, up 12.5% over the same period. Export turnover is estimated at over USD 2,770 million, up 25.8% over the same period; key products of the province such as coffee, seafood, textiles, garments, wood... all have increased export turnover over the same period. Total state budget revenue in the first 9 months of the year is estimated at VND 20,813 billion, reaching 86.4% of the estimate. Total development investment capital is over VND 56,000 billion, up 8.6% over the same period last year; the value of public investment disbursement by October 3, 2025 is over 67.3% of the capital plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
In particular, in recent times, the Provincial People's Committee has resolutely directed departments, branches, sectors and localities to prepare and implement key projects and works of the province such as: Investment project to build runway No. 2 and synchronous works at Phu Cat Airport, Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway, compensation, site clearance and resettlement of the High-speed Railway project on the North - South axis; Phu My Industrial Park, South Pleiku Industrial Park, CK 54 urban area and a number of other key projects to contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
Along with that, the cultural and social situation in the province continues to have many positive changes; social security is ensured, people's lives in the province are basically stable; national defense and security are maintained; political security and social order and safety are firmly maintained.
Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Vinh reported on the results of performing tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the work of handling administrative procedures to serve people and businesses in the province.
Reporting at the conference, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office Nguyen Xuan Vinh said that in the third quarter of 2025, departments and branches actively implemented the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; completed 1,498/2,301 tasks, and are processing 803 tasks. Notably, the number of overdue tasks that have not been completed has decreased significantly compared to the previous reporting period (August: 144 overdue tasks; September: 33 overdue tasks).
Regarding the index of service to people and businesses, as of September 30, Gia Lai province achieved 86.62 (up 1.14 points compared to August 2025), in the Good group, ranked 8th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. In particular, the scores of the province's component indexes, especially the index of progress in settlement, online payment and satisfaction level of people and businesses, are higher than the average score and have a high ranking compared to the whole country.

In order to exceed the socio-economic development targets set for 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested departments, branches and localities to focus on reviewing socio-economic development targets and proposing key tasks and solutions in the coming time.
