Meo Vac students win prizes in the "Send to Green Future 2050" Contest

Participate in the "Send Green Future 2050" Contest organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in collaboration with the Green Future Fund - Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup) . Two Mong ethnic students in Meo Vac district have won high awards.

With the theme "Share your dream of a green life on Earth in 2050", the contest creates opportunities for students to express their creative and unique ideas through three forms: Writing letters, drawing pictures or making videos . The works not only reflect the students' rich perspectives and imagination but also represent the young generation's voice of responsibility for the living environment and the future of the planet. The contest is organized in three rounds: Provincial/municipal level from November 2024 to December 31, 2024 and national level from January to the end of February 2025 with two preliminary and final rounds. The contest received over 16,680 entries from students from 664 schools in 51 provinces and cities. The Organizing Committee selected the 300 best contestants for the final round and 236 individuals and groups won the final prize.

Participating in the contest , To Mi Hong , class 7A2, and Tho Thi Van, class 6A3 , Can Chu Phin Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Meo Vac district, won third prize and consolation prize. The article and video were on the topic: Water scarcity in the dry season in the rocky plateau; the difficulties of the highland people and the wish for a future without water shortage ; preserving Peppermint flowers in the Ha Giang rocky plateau in the face of the risk of people abusing pesticides. Dreaming of a future where people get rich from Peppermint honey .

Tho Mi Hong, class 7A2, and Tho Thi Van, class 6A3, Can Chu Phin Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Meo Vac district, won third prize and consolation prize in the contest.

The contest is a creative playground for primary and secondary school students nationwide, with the desire to arouse awareness and positive actions from the young generation in building a green, sustainable world. Through the contest, students will be inspired to turn green ideas into reality, contributing to the journey of joining hands to protect the environment and create a better future.
