Studying and following Uncle Ho on Tam Hai island commune

Teacher Nguyen Van Tan, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Tran Quy Cap Secondary School, said that the school currently has 27 cadres, teachers and staff, of which the school's Party Cell has 10 party members who together carry out the task of educating 317 students of fishermen on the island.

Right from the beginning when Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo was issued, under the direction of the Party Committee of Tam Hai island commune and the education sector of Nui Thanh district, the School Party Cell has disseminated and thoroughly informed all cadres and teachers about registering to study and follow Uncle Ho in accordance with the professional tasks of each person and each department. The key content is to train political qualities, teachers' ethics, improve the responsibility of the "growing people" profession, love the profession, love children, innovate management work, teaching methods, ... creating new steps in the awareness, thoughts, and actions of cadres and party members, thereby improving the work efficiency of each individual as well as the overall education quality of the school.

To create a change in awareness for each cadre and teacher, the Party Cell of Tran Quy Cap Secondary School has focused on leading the improvement of the quality of conferences, Party cell meetings, and thematic activities, which regularly incorporate learning and following beloved Uncle Ho. Encourage party members and teachers to research and collect stories and valuable documents about Uncle Ho's moral example and style. Direct the school library to establish an "Uncle Ho Bookshelf" to introduce to students and teachers to read. Through thematic activities, cadres, party members and teachers can exchange, discuss, contribute ideas, and draw lessons from practical experience together.

In particular, in order to promote the study and practice of Uncle Ho's teachings effectively and in depth, the school's Party Cell has linked the contents of Directive 05-CT/TW with emulation movements and campaigns such as: "Democracy, discipline, love, responsibility", "Emulation to teach well, study well", "Innovation in teaching and learning methods", "Building a friendly school, active students", "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity". Through emulation movements, cadres and teachers increasingly promote the pioneering and exemplary spirit in performing their tasks, constantly self-studying, self-improving to improve their professional qualifications, skills, and innovating teaching methods with many innovative experiences and applied scientific research.

The school has not only deployed the study and follow Uncle Ho to party members, cadres, and teachers, but also paid special attention to all students, considering it a key task for them to well implement the "5 things Uncle Ho taught teenagers and children". The school has launched a movement to compete in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style" through class meetings, team meetings, flag-raising hours at the beginning of the week... in the form of "dramatization", through cultural and artistic activities. Integrating the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into subjects, integrating it into extracurricular educational activities, attracting a large number of students to participate and promoting the positivity of students when learning about beloved Uncle Ho. Thereby, helping students practice ethics, be responsible for the collective, for their beloved school, know how to help those in difficult circumstances to excel in their studies, practice to progress together. Arouse love, solidarity, mutual assistance to build a friendly and happy school environment.

Thanks to the concretization and skillful application of learning content, following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in emulation movements, the school's educational quality has always been maintained and improved. In 5 years (2018 - 2023), the school's annual junior high school graduation results reached 99 - 100%; students with good and excellent academic performance reached over 65%. The school is always ranked in the top of coastal schools in terms of the quality of excellent students, students winning prizes in provincial and national competitions; the rate of 9th grade students admitted to 10th grade at public high schools reached over 80%." In the 2022-2023 school year, the school had 3 teachers winning prizes in the District Excellent Teacher Competition and 01 teacher achieving the title of Provincial Excellent Teacher. For students, 33 students won prizes at the district level. The school was recognized for Level 3 Quality Assessment, achieved Level 2 National Standards, Tam Hai island commune was recognized for achieving Level 3 standards for universalizing lower secondary education.

With its achievements, for many consecutive years, Tran Quy Cap Secondary School has been awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit for the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" by the People's Committee of Nui Thanh District and the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province. Most recently, the Party Cell of Tran Quy Cap Secondary School was awarded by the People's Committee of Nui Thanh District for 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo (2021 and 2022).
