In addition to the university and college system with outstanding quality, Australia is also known for its flexible and diverse high schooleducation system, demonstrated through the separate high school programs of each state. The common point of these programs is that they all strictly adhere to the National Curriculum Framework (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority - ACARA). Whether studying the SACE (South Australia), VCE (Victoria) or HSC (New South Wales) program, students are guaranteed a consistent quality of education with subjects, content, output standards and assessment criteria approved by ACARA.
What is the VCE program?
The VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) is one of the most popular baccalaureate programs in Australia, renowned for its flexibility, allowing students to choose a wide range of subjects and combine academic subjects with careers.
With its popularity and internationality, the VCE is accepted by most universities and colleges worldwide . Students can use the VCE to apply to many different courses, easily access prestigious universities, as well as open up opportunities to participate in international student exchange programs.

Not to mention, when possessing a VCE degree, students also have the opportunity to be accepted immediately by top universities in Australia and internationally such as Ngo Gia Vy (Monash University), Nguyen Ngoc Anh (RMIT University), Le Anh Quan (Swinburne University), Tran Minh Thien (Deakin University),...
Why is the VCE program chosen by many students?
VCE offers a wide range of subjects across a range of disciplines, with flexibility that allows students to choose according to their interests, abilities and career aspirations. Compared to the IB Diploma Programme which is comprehensive in its learning and the SACE which focuses on specialised subjects, VCE offers greater flexibility, suitable for students who wish to develop their own individual tendencies from an early age.
In its program, VCE is designed to focus on developing essential skills for learning and life such as critical thinking and problem solving, effective communication and teamwork, research and independent learning. These are all skills that help students confidently adapt and succeed in an international environment.
Einstein School HCMC - One of the first units to implement the VCE program in Vietnam
Understanding that being close to family and having a familiar learning environment will create more favorable conditions for students to study and develop; therefore, Einstein School HCMC cooperates with Haileybury School with the permission and recognition of VCAA (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, Australia) to officially implement the VCE program in Vietnam. At Einstein School HCMC, students will receive the Australian standard VCE program with international, high-quality curriculum under the guidance of experienced native and Vietnamese teachers but at an extremely economical and reasonable cost.
Regarding the quality of training when VCE was brought to Vietnam, Mr. Gary Van Den Elsen (Director of the international VCE program at Haileybury School) proudly affirmed: "We have a team of highly qualified teachers, the same curriculum as we use in Melbourne, Australia, and the students also study the same set of textbooks. Einstein School HCMC and Haileybury have had and are having an extremely close connection, from the connection of teachers, advisors to the curriculum and study program, that unity brings students an Australian standard environment right in Vietnam".
The VCE program will last for 2 years of Grade 11 and Grade 12, divided into 4 modules with subjects such as English, Mathematics Methods, Extended Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Vietnamese as a first language. To graduate, students need to complete at least 16 credits. In addition, during the course of study, students will have to do project assignments and internal tests assessed by the school (SAC) to calculate the Learning points. These Learning points will then be calculated into the final ATAR score (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) used in Australia for university admission. In particular, students graduating from the VCE program will not need an IELTS score to apply to Australian universities in and/or outside Vietnam, and will also be considered for admission to international schools without having to study an additional University Preparation program.
VCE is a program for students who have completed grade 10, however, students who have just graduated from secondary school can still register for the exam and if they pass the academic skills assessment of Einstein School HCMC, they will be able to skip grade 10 and go straight to the VCE program in grade 11. Therefore, students who have just completed grade 9 only need to study 2 more years at Einstein School HCMC to own the prestigious Australian High School Diploma. This is an extremely suitable path if they intend to study abroad immediately after graduating in Vietnam.
