The Diplomatic Academy has just announced the admission score based on high school graduation exam scores, the highest being 29.2.

Up to now, nearly 60 universities have announced their benchmark scores for 2024. Previously, from August 13, the Ministry of Education and Training began the virtual filtering process, lasting until August 17 with 6 times in 5 days. At the same time, two virtual filtering groups, the North chaired by Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the South chaired by Ho Chi Minh City National University, also conducted virtual filtering.

At 4:00 p.m. on August 17, the Ministry of Education and Training will return the final virtual screening results to universities. Based on these results, the universities will determine and announce the official admission scores, starting at 5:00 p.m. on August 17 and completing no later than August 19.

According to regulations, before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that schools announce the first round of admission results before 5:00 p.m. on August 19.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round admission results. Candidates should pay attention to receive admission and enrollment results on the system within the prescribed time.

Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training show that in 2024, more than 733,000 candidates registered for admission, equivalent to 68.5% of the total number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates registered for admission on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the total number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. The number of candidates registering for university admission this year increased by 73,000 compared to last year.
