Previously, on April 10, the Minister of Education and Training signed a decision to recognize Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Thuan, Vice Rector of the Universityof Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to hold the position of Director of the Academy of Educational Management for the 2020-2025 term.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son said that the education sector is in the process of innovation and development, including university education, general education, preschool education and continuing education. In this process, teachers are an important and decisive force.

Referring to the Ministry of Education and Training's top priority task of state management of education, Minister Son said that the spirit of management is based on people, through people and implemented by people.

To implement educational innovation and training through the human factor, training, fostering and coaching educational management staff is a particularly important step.

According to Mr. Son, this is the content that the Ministry of Education and Training has been interested in for many years and the Academy of Educational Management has also been assigned this important responsibility. Currently, when the cause of education and training innovation is in the process of development, the responsibility and mission of the Academy of Educational Management is increasingly important.

The Minister of Education and Training also expressed his hope that the Academy of Educational Management will continue to unite and promote collective intelligence.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Thuan pledged to complete the assigned tasks as best as possible; contribute with the collective to continue realizing the academy's mission, maintain stability and build a school of consensus, sharing, dedication to the common work, and develop the academy in the spirit of innovation in Vietnamese education.

Mr. Thuan said that in the coming time, he and the collective will focus on promoting the development of the Academy into a high-quality university, aiming for regional level; a center for training and developing leaders, managers, and teachers for the education sector.
