On the morning of October 30, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training announced that it had issued a document agreeing with the proposal of Vo Nguyen Giap High School to force Mr. Dang Tang - a math teacher - to quit his job due to serious violations of teacher ethics and re-offending during the disciplinary period.

Previously, on October 3, Mr. Dang Tang used his hand to squeeze the neck of his colleague Nguyen Truc Sinh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, in front of security guards and students.

The reason for the above behavior was because Mr. Tang left his motorbike right in front of the school gate. When Mr. Nguyen Truc Sinh reminded him, Mr. Tang immediately turned around, strangled and assaulted Mr. Sinh.

The verification results of the Disciplinary Council of Vo Nguyen Giap High School confirmed that Mr. Tang's behavior seriously violated regulations on teachers' ethics, negatively affecting the image of teachers.

Also according to Vo Nguyen Giap High School, during the review meeting and the Disciplinary Council meeting, Mr. Tang did not write a self-criticism, showed an blatant attitude, laughed, mocked everyone, and lacked a spirit of learning.

According to the report of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, from 2013 to 2025, Mr. Dang Tang was disciplined 5 times at different work units. The Disciplinary Council of Vo Nguyen Giap High School held a meeting, the result of the vote was 100% in agreement to discipline by forced dismissal.

Based on the reports and case files, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training found that the violation of official Dang Tang was a recidivism while serving a disciplinary warning decision and the violation was of a very large nature, level, and harmful effect, causing public outrage, seriously violating regulations on teachers' ethics, negatively affecting the image of teachers and the pedagogical environment.

Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training agreed with the proposal of Vo Nguyen Giap High School to apply the disciplinary measure of forced dismissal to the official Dang Tang, a math teacher. The Department of Education and Training gave its opinion for the school principal to implement according to regulations.
