Dak Lak dismissed a Deputy Director of the Project Management Board.

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued Decision 01844/QD-UBND, dated October 31, 2025, on the dismissal of Mr. Phan Xuan Bach, Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of the province.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Director of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province to manage and use civil servants and salary regime for Mr. Phan Xuan Bach according to the provisions of law.

Previously, on December 31, 2024, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province issued a decision to discipline Mr. Phan Xuan Bach, Deputy Director in charge of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province.

The disciplinary decision clearly stated: During his tenure as Deputy Director in charge of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province, Mr. Phan Xuan Bach violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, and was responsible as the head for the violations and shortcomings of the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of the Province in the period 2020 - 2025.

Jointly responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Project Management Board in the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 periods (from August 2017 to July 2022) in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh Road construction project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city; directly responsible for signing 3 documents requesting the Ministry of Transport to appraise and approve the implementation of work volume assurance of contractors in the Project implementation consortium; not reviewing and adjusting the payment contract unit price due to price slippage during acceptance and payment (46 times) for contractors of Package No. 03 and 04 of the Project; repeatedly received money from contractors (returned to the investigation agency), violated the law on bidding, construction, public investment, anti-corruption, waste, and negativity, and was disciplined by the Central Inspection Commission with a Warning in Decision No. 1803-QD/UBKTTW dated November 8, 2024.
