The case of a teacher strangling his colleague: Will be forced to quit because of disrespect for the organization

(Dan Tri) - A math teacher in Dak Lak who committed many violations at work, was disciplined 5 times, and strangled a colleague right on the schoolyard will be forced to quit his job.

On October 30, information from the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) of Dak Lak province, the unit received a proposal from Vo Nguyen Giap High School on disciplinary action against an official who violated professional ethics, proposing to apply the disciplinary measure of forced dismissal to Mr. Dang Tang (46 years old, math teacher).

Based on the case file, the Department of Education and Training found that Mr. Dang Tang's violation was a recidivism while he was serving the disciplinary warning decision.

Mr. Tang's violation has great harm, causing public outrage and seriously violating regulations on teachers' ethics, negatively affecting the image of teachers and the pedagogical environment, therefore the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training agrees with the request of Vo Nguyen Giap High School.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Principal of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, confirmed that after receiving instructions from the Department of Education and Training, the school will issue a decision to force Mr. Dang Tang to quit his job.

According to Mr. Dung, in the review meeting and the school's Disciplinary Council, Mr. Tang attended the meeting but showed no remorse or regret for his wrongdoings. On the contrary, Mr. Tang challenged and disrespected the organization.

As Dan Tri reported, at around 7:10 a.m. on October 3, Mr. NTS, Secretary of the School Youth Union, national defense education teacher of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, was on duty to check student discipline as assigned by the school's board of directors.

Teacher S. discovered Mr. Tang parked his motorbike in the middle of the school gate and reminded him to park his vehicle properly. At that time, Mr. Tang cursed, threatened and strangled teacher S. twice in front of the school security guards and students.

The entire incident was recorded by the school's security cameras.

The incident left Mr. S. with a neck injury, affecting his teaching mentality and shocking the students who witnessed it.

Mr. Tang was disciplined 5 times during his career for beating, cursing, insulting students and challenging parents.

In response to the incident, Vo Nguyen Giap High School temporarily suspended Mr. Tang from work. The Ministry of Education and Training also requested the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training to report on this incident.
