Dak Lak Secretary: People truly enjoy the results of emulation

(Dan Tri) - Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that the success of the emulation movement must be crystallized into real products, creating changes for development and for people to benefit.

On October 28, Dak Lak province solemnly organized the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025-2030 with the theme "Emulating innovation, creativity, acceleration, breakthrough, bringing Dak Lak and the whole country into a new era of development, prosperity, civilization, and identity".

The congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee, along with representatives of local leaders, departments, branches and about 450 delegates who are typical examples in the patriotic emulation movements of Dak Lak province.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, said that recently, the patriotic emulation movement of Dak Lak province has had many innovations in both content and form, associated with political tasks and local practices.

Movements such as "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", "Joining hands to build new rural areas", "Sustainable poverty reduction", "Good teaching - Good learning", "For national security"... have spread widely, creating momentum for socio -economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and improving people's lives.

From the emulation movements, many examples of good people, good deeds and advanced models have emerged in various sectors, fields and localities; helping to promote the combined strength to help Dak Lak overcome difficulties and challenges and gain important achievements in various fields. Hundreds of collectives and individuals have been honored with Medals and noble awards from the Party and the State.

The Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee said that after the merger with Phu Yen province, Dak Lak province has many potentials, advantages and opportunities to strongly develop in economy, culture and society. However, Dak Lak province also has challenges and difficulties, requiring the participation with the spirit of emulation and the highest determination of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested that Party committees at all levels, localities and sectors need to closely follow a number of tasks to strengthen the propaganda work of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on emulation and reward work in the new situation.

He requested that emulation work should focus on solving key, urgent, difficult and limited issues arising in the province's development process. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on discovering and nurturing new factors, advanced models and strongly replicating and spreading typical models.

The Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the rewards must be truly serious, fair and accurate, with criteria to properly evaluate achievements and promptly encourage deserving groups and individuals.

"The results and successes of the emulation movement must be crystallized into real products, creating real changes for development, people can truly enjoy the results of emulation and actively participate in the emulation movements," Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized.

The head of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee called on all cadres, party members and people in the province to continue to strive for patriotism, solidarity, creativity, and join hands to build Dak Lak to develop rapidly, sustainably, civilizedly, and with its own identity, contributing to the country's development in the new period.

At the Congress, 5 individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal; 1 collective was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 17 individuals were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 2 collectives were awarded the Government's Emulation Flag and many outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.
