On October 28th, Dak Lak province solemnly organized its first Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025-2030 with the theme "Emulating innovation, creativity, acceleration, breakthroughs, bringing Dak Lak, along with the whole country, into a new era of development that is prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and distinctive."
The congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Commendation Board, along with representatives from local authorities, departments, and approximately 450 delegates who are outstanding examples in patriotic emulation movements in Dak Lak province.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, said that in recent times, the patriotic emulation movement in Dak Lak province has undergone many innovations in both content and form, linked to political tasks and local realities.
Movements such as "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh," "Joining forces to build new rural areas," "Sustainable poverty reduction," "Good teaching - Good learning," and "For national security"... have spread widely, creating momentum for socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, and improving people's lives.
From emulation movements, many exemplary individuals and advanced models have emerged in various sectors, fields, and localities; helping to unleash the combined strength to enable Dak Lak to overcome difficulties and challenges and achieve important accomplishments in various fields. Hundreds of collectives and individuals have been honored with medals and other prestigious awards from the Party and the State.

The Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee stated that after the merger with Phu Yen province, Dak Lak province has many potentials, advantages, and opportunities for strong economic, cultural, and social development. However, Dak Lak province also faces challenges and difficulties, requiring the highest level of commitment and determination from officials, civil servants, and the people.
Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet suggested that Party committees, localities, and sectors should closely adhere to and implement several tasks to strengthen the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on emulation and reward work in the new situation.
He requested that emulation campaigns focus on addressing key, urgent, difficult, and challenging issues arising in the province's development process. At the same time, he emphasized identifying and nurturing new talents and exemplary individuals, and strongly promoting and disseminating these outstanding examples.
The Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the awarding of commendations must be truly serious, fair, and accurate, with criteria to properly assess achievements and promptly encourage deserving collectives and individuals.
"The results and success of the emulation movement must be crystallized into tangible products, creating real transformation for development, ensuring that people truly benefit from the achievements of the emulation and actively participate in the emulation movements," Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized.

The head of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee called on all cadres, Party members, and people in the province to continue striving in patriotic emulation, unity, creativity, and working together to build a rapidly developing, sustainable, civilized, and distinctive Dak Lak, contributing to the development of the country in the new era.
At the Congress, 5 individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal; 1 collective was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 17 individuals were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal; 2 collectives were awarded the Government's Emulation Flag; and many outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.
