Weather on November 1: Cold in the North, heavy rain continues in the Central region

It is forecasted that on November 1, cold air will affect the northern provinces. The central region is forecast to continue to have heavy rain. The southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Hanoi area is cloudy with rain. Northeast wind level 2-3, cold weather. Ho Chi Minh City is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.

At sea, the tropical convergence zone with its axis at about 10-13 degrees north latitude connects with the low pressure area located at 1:00 a.m. on November 1 at about 11.5-12.50N; 116.5-117.50E. The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Quang Ngai , the Gulf of Thailand, and the central East Sea area has scattered showers and thunderstorms. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature from 20-23 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places above 26 degrees Celsius.

South Central Coast: In the North, it is cloudy with heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. In the South, it is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. East to northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature from 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature in the North is from 26-29 degrees Celsius, in the South is from 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. West to southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature from 23-26 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. West to southwest wind level 2-3.
