Regional Customs Branch XVII donated more than 160 million VND to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

On the afternoon of October 31, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, the Regional Customs Branch XVII presented 162 million VND to support people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVII Phan Van Vu shared that over the past months, storms and floods have caused countless losses of human lives and property in many provinces and cities. Together with the whole country, with all the love and sharing, the Party Committee, government and people of Tay Ninh province have joined hands to gather love for compatriots who suffered losses due to storms and floods through many practical and appropriate actions.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to mobilize support for people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods, the Regional Customs Branch XVII called on all civil servants and employees of the unit to support people in storm and flood areas with 1 day of food/person.

On this occasion, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thi Cam Tu expressed her deep gratitude to the wholehearted contributions of all civil servants and employees of the Regional XVII Customs Branch, and affirmed that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will promptly allocate and soon transfer support resources to the damaged localities./.
