On January 5, the Provincial Consumer Rights Protection Association held a conference to review work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Authorized by the Provincial Consumer Protection Association, the Vietnam Consumer Protection Association awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
Currently, the Provincial Consumer Rights Protection Association has 155 members, with 10 branches in districts and cities. In 2023, the Association has proactively coordinated with departments, branches, sectors, unions, districts and cities to organize propaganda on the Law on Consumer Rights Protection. The Association distributed 4,000 leaflets, 1,500 documents at training classes, wholesale markets, highland areas and at activities responding to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day on March 15; organized 10 training conferences on legal documents on consumer rights protection at the grassroots level with 500 participants. Coordinated legal consultation and propaganda at 10 markets for more than 11,000 people. Coordinated with branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to implement the Law on Consumer Rights Protection; organized training conferences and propaganda on consumer rights protection in all fields; Participate in specialized inspection work, maintain regular propaganda activities on mass media... The Association's activities contribute to reducing pressure on state management agencies in resolving and handling units that violate consumer rights.
In 2024, the Provincial Consumer Protection Association will continue to diversify forms of legal dissemination, raising awareness for consumers in remote and isolated areas. Strengthen legal consultancy and complaint settlement; promptly survey, grasp information and reflect issues related to consumer rights protection in production, business and market to state management agencies.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Association for Protection of Consumer Rights awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 4 individuals of the Provincial Association for Protection of Consumer Rights for completing the task of protecting consumer rights in 2023.
