The fair is held annually and is the biggest trade event between the two countries in the year. Ambassador Ly Quoc Tuan attended the opening, delivered a speech and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the fair.
Organized under the coordination between the Embassy, the Trade Office of Vietnam and the Myanmar Fairs, Exhibitions and Events Association, the Fair is also supported by the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar, the Federation of Myanmar Commerce and Industry, the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs' Association, and the International Business Promotion Center.

Vietnamese products participating in the Fair include fashion , footwear, beverages, household electrical appliances, plastic products, construction materials, wooden furniture, composite windows, fire prevention and fighting equipment, paint, construction chemicals, banking and tourism, which have received great attention from Myanmar companies and associations.
In addition to Vietnamese enterprises operating in Myanmar such as Son Ha Co. Ltd. (clean water equipment), Ba An Co. Ltd. (electric pole production), VLC (glass products), Vimyan Tours Travel ( tourism ), VietLines (Vietnamese coffee)..., there are also many enterprises from Vietnam, showing the interest of domestic enterprises in the Myanmar market.
Vietnamese enterprises participated in the Fair for the first time but expressed their determination to survey, learn about the market, and explore the possibility of cooperation with Myanmar partners.
During the fair, the Vietnam Trade Office and partners organized a number of seminars on trade and tourism, connecting markets and businesses of the two countries.
