At the working session, the Head of the delegation acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Education and Training sector, and emphasized the need for schools and units to proactively adapt, flexibly innovate teaching methods, and successfully complete tasks in the new situation.

The delegation visited Sao Mai Kindergarten (Noi O Hamlet, Hong Dan Commune). In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 420 children/16 groups and classes, an average of 26.25 children/class, of which 95 children are ethnic minorities. The team consists of 43 cadres, teachers, and employees, 100% of whom meet the qualifications, of which 34 have university degrees. The number of teachers and employees is arranged in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

The school organizes boarding meals for all students, with a collection rate of 40,000 VND/child/day, of which 2,000 VND is spent on cleaning services and cooking gas; 3,000 VND is for meals; 6,000 VND is for teachers on duty at noon; 1,000 VND is for management; 28,000 VND is for children's meals/day, implemented according to Resolution 11/2023/NQ-HDND of Ca Mau province.
At Ngan Dua High School (Thong Nhat Hamlet, Hong Dan Commune), there are currently 57 staff, teachers and employees, of which 100% have met professional qualifications. The school staff is assessed to have good professional capacity, meeting the requirements of innovative teaching methods, ready to implement new general education programs and textbooks , applying information technology and effective digital transformation in teaching.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school organized extra classes to prepare for the high school graduation exam with 2 periods/subject/week, a total of 20 periods/subject. As a result, the graduation passing rate reached 100% (374/374 students). In addition, the school's students won 22 provincial-level excellent student awards, exceeding the assigned target.

*In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation arrived at Phuoc Long Secondary School (Long Hau Hamlet, Phuoc Long Commune). In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 37 classes with 1,509 students, an average of 40 students/class, including 38 ethnic minority students and 70 students with difficult circumstances. The team consists of 78 officers, teachers, and employees, 100% of whom meet the standards.

The current facilities include 20 solid classrooms, with an average area of 48 m²/room; 5 subject rooms, 1 library, 1 multi-purpose room, and separate restrooms for teachers and students. However, the school cannot organize 2 sessions/day due to many difficulties: lack of 28 classrooms and working rooms (including 16 classrooms, 6 subject rooms, 6 working rooms); lack of 6 permanent teachers, must be contracted; damaged student desks and chairs, lack of about 250 new sets.
In addition to working with Phuoc Long Secondary School, the delegation also had a working session with Phuoc Long B Primary School (Noi O Hamlet, Phuoc Long Commune). Here, representatives of the two schools made very practical recommendations and proposals to the delegation.
The survey aimed to assess the current status of management, teaching, facilities, non-tuition revenues, the implementation of the new general education program, the construction of national standard schools, and the organization of extra teaching and learning according to regulations. Thereby, the working group acknowledged the achieved results, at the same time pointed out difficulties and shortcomings, in order to promptly propose solutions to overcome them, creating conditions for the education and training sector to successfully complete its tasks in the new period.
