Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, Vice Chairman of Hong Dan Commune People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tot, Chief Representative of Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee in Bac Lieu area, and many people in the hamlet.

The 6,000m canal bridge is one of the projects to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

The 6,000 canal bridge is built of reinforced concrete, 28 m long, 3.5 m wide, 3.5 ton load capacity, with a total cost of about 470 million VND. Of which, the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City mobilized sponsors to support 370 million VND; the rest will be matched by the locality. It is expected that after about 2 months of construction, the project will be completed and put into use.

The new bridge was solidly built, contributing to ensuring traffic safety and convenient travel for people, replacing the old, degraded bridge. At the same time, the project also helps to synchronously connect the 3.5 m concrete road to Provincial Road DT978, opening up opportunities for socio-economic development for the locality.

Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Dan commune, hopes to continue receiving attention and support to complete the traffic infrastructure in the area, contributing to the socio-economic breakthrough of the commune in the new period.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Dan Commune, said that this is a practical project to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030. In the exciting atmosphere of competition towards the Congress, the Party Committee, government and people of Hong Dan Commune are striving to complete many meaningful projects and tasks.

On this occasion, the commune leaders expressed their deep gratitude to the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee and the benefactors who have cared for and supported the locality; at the same time, they hope to continue receiving companionship to complete the infrastructure and promote socio-economic development in the area.
