Provincial Red Cross Society provides humanitarian support at Nam Ly commune

Implementing the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", the Ninh Binh Provincial Red Cross Society has just organized a fund-raising ceremony to support Ms. Tran Thi Loan (born in 1960, Nam Ly commune).

Comrade Tran Trong Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, together with local Party Committee and authorities, presented support funds to Ms. Tran Thi Loan.

Ms. Loan is a single parent, in extremely difficult circumstances, with no one to take care of her, and is not eligible for benefits according to state regulations. Currently, Ms. Loan has suffered from Parkinson's disease for many years and cancer for 2 years. Due to difficult circumstances, in addition to the times when she is sick, when she is healthy, she collects scrap to make ends meet and earn money for medical treatment. The house she lives in is also dilapidated, leaks in many places, and is unsafe.

Understanding Ms. Loan's situation, the Provincial Red Cross Society mobilized the Thien Tam Fund to support her with 20 million VND so that she could have more conditions to take care of herself and pay for medical treatment.

The local government representative thanked the provincial Red Cross Society and Thien Tam Fund for their help in helping Ms. Loan during her difficult time, and will also pay attention and mobilize local departments, branches and organizations to support and create conditions for her to improve her life.
