Provincial Veterans Association: 10th Party Congress, term 2025-2030

On the morning of June 25, the Provincial Veterans Association Party Cell held its 10th Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the event was Mr. Thanh Tu Du - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Veterans Association Party Cell has focused on leading and directing the implementation of the set goals and key tasks. The Association at all levels has effectively implemented the "Exemplary Veterans" emulation movements and campaigns; notably, joining hands to eliminate dilapidated houses, in 2024 alone, 56 new houses were built, worth about 7.9 billion VND, and 38 houses were repaired, worth more than 1.6 billion VND.

The Party cell always pays attention to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party cell committee and Party members; organizes monthly Party cell and Party cell meetings in accordance with regulations; Party members participate in Party cell activities at over 95%; 100% of cadres, Party members and the masses have high awareness and responsibility in the work of preventing corruption and waste; 100% of Party members declare and publicize their assets and income according to regulations. In the annual quality assessment and classification, 20% of the Party cell committees and Party cells have excellently completed their tasks; the Party cell committees and Party cells have been assessed by the Party Committee at higher levels to have completed their tasks well.

The Congress contributed opinions to the Documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft political report of the 1st Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies to be submitted to the 2nd Provincial Party Congress of Party Agencies, term 2025-2030.

Attending and speaking at the Congress, Mr. Thanh Tu Du - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Veterans Association should continue to encourage veterans to promote their will of self-reliance, actively participate in charitable activities, coordinate well with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, local military and police agencies to fulfill political tasks and social security goals of each locality; accompany the Youth Union to start a business and establish a career to carry out the movement "Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland" in the new situation.
