Online Reporter Conference August 2025

(laichau.gov.vn) This morning (August 15), the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held the Central Reporters Conference for August 2025 to provide current information to the team of reporters and grassroots propagandists and propaganda orientations in the coming time. Comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the Conference.

The conference was organized in a combination of in-person and online formats from the central bridge to over 1,519 bridge points of provinces and cities nationwide with over 55,342 delegates attending.

Attending the conference at the Lai Chau provincial bridge point were comrades: Nguyen Dinh Toan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Dao Thi Thanh Nhan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; comrades who are central reporters of the province, provincial reporters; comrades representing the leadership of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders and experts of the specialized departments of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representative leaders: Provincial Police Department of Politics , Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Provincial People's Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front's social work department, departments of the Provincial Political School, etc.

At the Conference, delegates heard the following contents: Initial results of operating two-level local government, issues and solutions in the coming time; recent outstanding world and regional situations, impacts and policies of Vietnam; orientation of propaganda work in the coming time.

The initial results of the operation of the two-level local government (provincial and communal levels) show the stability and smoothness of the apparatus, the continuous maintenance of public administrative services, ensuring security and order, and the smooth operation from the central to local levels. Accordingly, as of July 31, 2025, localities have completed the supplementation and consolidation of key leadership positions of the People's Council and People's Committee; paid attention to arranging enough cadres, civil servants, and workers (including for agencies and units that do not carry out the arrangement; agencies and units in remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas). Immediately after the restructuring of the apparatus, agencies and units promptly went into operation, without delay, without interrupting work.

The Public Administration Service Centers in localities have come into operation, most of them have operated the software system to handle administrative procedures, connected and communicated with the National Public Service Portal, the National Population Database, the National Database on Administrative Procedures. Many localities have deployed the use of online public services at levels 3-4, electronic payments... Some localities have creative and effective ways of doing things.

Data from the Government Office shows that from July 1 to August 10, 2025, the country received a total of 3,764,448 applications, of which 2,625,628 were online applications, accounting for 69.7%.

According to the report of the Department of Digital Transformation of the Central Party Office on the results of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, 17 provinces and cities have "greened" more than 50% of communes and wards; of which 12 provinces and cities have exceeded the 70% mark. Notably, 7 provinces and cities (Hanoi, Hue, Son La, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Hung Yen) have completed 100% of the "greening" of communes and wards, creating a solid foundation for the effective operation of Public Administration Service Centers.

The issue of resolving policies and regimes for redundant cadres and civil servants after the rearrangement is of interest to ministries, central agencies and localities, who grasp the situation, thoughts and aspirations to resolve them according to regulations...

Comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission spoke about the propaganda orientation for the coming time.

Speaking on the propaganda orientation for the coming time, comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, requested reporters at central and local agencies to focus on propagating the contents that were thoroughly grasped at the Conference. At the same time, step up propaganda on the implementation of the policy of rearranging the apparatus and administrative units at all levels; a number of key tasks to rearrange the apparatus and administrative units under the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat; the preparation and organization of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; propaganda on the Patriotic Emulation Congress at all levels and in all sectors towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in 2025; propaganda on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

In addition, it is necessary to propagate the commemoration of major holidays and important historical events of the country. In particular, focusing on propagating the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); the results of important foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders in the coming time and preparations for the new school year 2025 - 2026...
