Conference of delegates of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in 2023

Reporting on the results of the agency's performance of functions and tasks; regulations on implementing democracy in the agency's activities; and the assessment and review of the agency's Head in implementing the 2023 work plan of the Government Inspectorate, Deputy General of the Government Inspectorate Le Sy Bay said that in 2023, the Government Inspectorate has directed strongly, ministries, branches and localities have focused on synchronously implementing tasks in accordance with the spirit of the resolutions and directions of the Government and the Prime Minister .

Despite the large workload, including many tasks and unexpected inspections, the Party Executive Committee and the leaders of the Government Inspectorate have been flexible and determined in leading and directing the Government Inspectorate and inspection agencies at all levels to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Regarding the results of trade union work, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Government Inspectorate Nguyen Manh Huong said that the trade union activities and the movement of civil servants and public employees at the Government Inspectorate during the year closely followed the Resolution of the 20th Trade Union Congress for the 2018-2023 term; Resolution of the Conference of civil servants, public employees and workers in 2022 and the direction of the Executive Committee and Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate in performing tasks in various fields of work associated with the administrative reform program and other assigned tasks.

Implementing the emulation movements in 2023 launched by the Government Inspectorate and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Government Inspectorate Trade Union has developed an implementation plan and achieved many positive results, contributing to the good implementation of the agency's political tasks.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union Nguyen Van Dong congratulated the achievements of the Inspection sector in 2023 and highly appreciated the organization of the 2023 conference of delegates of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Government Inspectorate, which demonstrated democracy in the unit, with the attention of leaders and union members.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Inspector of the Government Doan Hong Phong praised and highly appreciated the results and contributions of the officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Government Inspectorate in 2023, contributing to the overall results of the whole industry.

According to General Inspector Doan Hong Phong, in 2023, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, the Inspectorate and the Inspection sector have closely followed the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Government , and the Prime Minister to comprehensively complete all aspects of work and achieve positive and important results in the work of institution building; inspection; receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; preventing and combating corruption and negativity; building the sector and ensuring stable income for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.

General Inspector Doan Hong Phong emphasized that 2024 is a "sprint" year of special importance in implementing the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2026. In order to contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolutions and work programs of the Party, National Assembly, and Government, he requested all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Inspectorate to continue to strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks, focusing on implementing well the 6 main groups of contents that have been pointed out.

Firstly, regarding inspection work, it is necessary to closely follow the 2024 Inspection Program Orientation, requirements and directions of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity at all levels, the Government, the Prime Minister, Heads of administrative agencies and the actual situation to implement the inspection plan and assigned tasks, ensuring suitability and effectiveness.

Second, regarding the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, advising on the strict implementation of the Party and State's policies and laws, and the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister on the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations. Focus on resolving outstanding, complicated, and prolonged cases, and not allowing hot spots of complaints and denunciations to arise.

Third, regarding the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, effectively implementing the National Strategy on preventing and combating corruption and negativity until 2030 and the Plan for implementing the United Nations Convention against Corruption...

Fourth, continue to consolidate and improve the organization and apparatus, improve the quality of operations, maintain discipline and order in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Fifth, the Chief and the head of the unit must be exemplary and the nucleus of the unit's solidarity. Each unit and individual must clearly define their functions, tasks, and working relationships. Correctly, fully, and qualitatively implement the topics of activities and study within each unit.

Sixth, well implement the plan and tasks of the Executive Committee of the TTCP Trade Union for 2024; continue to improve the material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.

At the Conference, the TTCP Trade Union announced the decisions and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union to 04 comrades with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2023; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the TTCP Trade Union to 12 departmental trade unions and 62 civil servants and public employees of the TTCP Trade Union.
