Conference on trade connection between Ninh Binh province and Kon Tum province

On the afternoon of June 19, in Ninh Binh city, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh and Kon Tum provinces jointly organized a conference to connect trade and display and introduce local strengths.

Business representatives of the two provinces signed a memorandum of understanding.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh province and the Department of Industry and Trade of Kon Tum province; Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion Centers; enterprises, cooperatives, distributors, etc. of the two provinces.

At the conference, businesses and cooperatives of the two localities introduced their potential and strengths, shared information on investment, production and business, and introduced and promoted their product brands.

Within the framework of the conference, more than 100 products from nearly 25 production and business units of the two localities of Ninh Binh and Kon Tum were displayed, visually introducing product information: designs, packaging, barcodes, OCOP star ratings, etc.

For Kon Tum province, with its plateau and mountainous terrain with an altitude of 1,000 to 2,600 m, it has the advantage of growing and processing products from valuable medicinal plants, such as Ngoc Linh ginseng, herbal tea, honey... and many active ingredients that are very beneficial to human health.

Meanwhile, Ninh Binh, with its many traditional craft villages, associated with a thousand-year cultural history, was also displayed and introduced at the conference. Up to now, Ninh Binh has over 100 unique products that have been classified as OCOP, such as: Bo Bat pottery, Tong Truong perch, products of Sinh Duoc Cooperative, Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea, etc.

Delegates visited agricultural products of the two provinces.

After the businesses visited and learned about the partners' products, 17 memorandums of understanding were signed between businesses of the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Kon Tum.

The conference is an opportunity for businesses to promote trade, advertise, introduce their potential, production and business capacity, products and brands with strengths of the unit, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for businesses to seek investment opportunities, sign trade contracts, contributing to expanding the market between regions.
